The scoring methodology hasn’t been agreed in full yet, however Olympus Energy have launched what we believe is the first ECO 4 scores calculator in the industry. Email us for your own copy and have a play with the scores as they stand. As soon as scores are finalised, we’ll be issuing an up to date version and we’ll make sure to keep you updated as it develops. In time, we hope to have a website/mobile friendly version which we can send to our network.

By entering the size of the property, using four simple bands, and entering the starting EPC rating, the calculator allows you to select the present heating being used and then select a range of measures to see whether they have the desired impact of moving the EPC rating to qualify for full project funding. There’s already some interesting findings which we’ll be publishing once the scores become more final.

The calculator indicates whether you have achieved the desired score and what you need to add if it hasn’t. It also indicates what the partial project payment would generate in funding i.e. if all the measures aren’t fitted at once and what the full project funding would look like if all are fitted. Exciting times!
